On the edge of the Cradle Mountain National Park, Cosy Cabins (now known as Discovery Holiday Parks – Cradle Mountain) are the budget alternative when deciding where to stay in the Cradle Mountain area.

Providing basic accommodation, Cosy Cabins are on the boundary of the National Park in Tasmania’s Western Wilderness is just over an hour from Burnie, Latrobe and Deloraine.

The park offers a range of self-contained accommodation in cottages with sleeping from 4 to 5 people. All feature gas log-heated fires, en-suite bathroom, TV/DVD, satellite TV, and full kitchens. There is also a Spa Cottage featuring a luxurious spa bath. Family style cabins accommodating up to 6 are also available.

The backpacker / hostel complex offers a range of bunkhouses, featuring either bunk-beds, or a Queen bed and 2 bunk-beds providing ideal family accommodation. Each room is heated and offers access to the fully equipped shared kitchen and dining hall. Powered and unpowered sites are beautifully located in a bush setting, featuring stunning cooking shelters with fire places to create the perfect camping experience.
