Cradle Mountain water, river, stream – beautiful and cool

Pristine rapidly flowing water is a feature for many visitors to the Cradle Mountain National Park. Beautiful streams and river abound as water is everywhere. From still creeks that meander through ancient rain forests to fast flowing rapids and waterfalls, Cradle Mountain is a water lovers paradise.
There are many short walks around the National Park where you can discover a new stream or creek. Even in the middle of a hot summer, the Cradle Mountain area is a wonderful place to dip your toes in some cold mountain water or enjoy a refreshing paddle in a quiet tree covered pool.
Photographers love the contrast between the fast flowing streams and waterfalls with the gorgeous green of the old growth forest. Don’t forget your tripod and plenty of battery power and you will take shot after shot!
Take your time and wander around the many “water features” at Cradle Mountain, you won’t be disappointed!
