If you like a bit of adventure and are prepared to walk a long way to ski or snowboard then the are some spots near Cradle Mountain where you can indulge your passion.

Winters in the Cradle Mountain National Park can be tough. Snow is common and higher areas often have snow for most of winter. Our recommended spot is to head up the “Horse Track” to the Cradle Plateau. If you are visiting the area in winter, throw in your toboggan, snowboard or skis! Make sure you are wearing appropriate clothing and record your intentions in the day walkers book!
