Cradle Mountain National Park – snow, stillness and spectacular scenery

8 March 2011 No Comment

Cradle Mountain National Park in winter videoCradle Mountain is a special place any time of the year, but when the weather decides to turn cold and snow covers the area, it becomes more beautiful than ever.

Visitors to the National Park can be blessed with incredibly still days following a snow fall. With no wind, you can be rewarded with magnificant reflections of snow covered ranges on glass like lakes and tarns.

It can be a truely magical place.

Stephen Babka captured this delightful video recently following a large snow fall at Cradle Mountain. Combined with some great music, this terrific production, “A Very Special Day” is a must view.

Sit back, turn up the volume on your computer and enjoy a very special day at Cradle Mountain, Tasmania.
