Car rental in Tasmania – the best deal?

21 July 2011 No Comment

Car rental Tasmania
On a recent short break in Tasmania we needed to hire a car to travel from Hobart to Freycinet Lodge, on to Cradle Mountain Chateau and then to Launceston airport.

We discovered Redspot car rentals  a few years ago and hire from them each time we need a car in Tasmania. As you know, there aren’t many points of difference between car hire companies. The vehicles are usually late model, have enough extras to meet your needs and are reliable.

The difference with Redspot is their drive away, all inclusive rates. What you pay per day is what the cost will be, excluding fuel, of course.

With Redspot there are no additional costs for insurance as hire costs include $0 vehicle damage/theft liability. In addition there are unlimited kilometres available so you don’t have to get stressed about the distances you travel. It works a treat.

We shot some video of our car (sad hey) but you might be interested in the driving conditions in Tasmania with snow in the Cradle Mountain area while we visited. It was good to have a solid vehicle.

Jump in now if you are planning a holiday to Tasmania. There is a super special on Redspot’s website valid until the end September 2011 - rent for three days, get one free. What a bonus.
